Leczy calls himself a pioneer of African music for the coming generation

News causing quite the controversy on social media this week is that of hip hop and afro-pop star, Leczy.

Leczy is becoming a controversial figure with the statements he makes.

Only recently he stated that he has surpassed the level of being called an upcoming artist.

Leczy believes his reign would follow the likes of 2face, Nice, Wiz kid, Davido and a host of others as the pioneers of a modern-day afro-fusion sound that is proudly acknowledged by Nigerians and the rest if the world.

The hip hop and afro-pop star said: “I see myself as a pioneer of hip hop and afro-fusion to the coming generation. Like Wizkid, Davido and others who have paved the way for a lot of artist in this generation, I want to create a similar legacy.”

The Nigerian and South Africa-based talent is not afraid of putting in work and embracing challenges to support his big claims and fans are actually rooting for a new sound that will rival the likes of Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, Fireboy.
